Neoen inks 139MW French agriPV PPA with rail operator SNCF

French independent power producer Neoen signed a 25-year PPA with SNCF Energie for a 139MW solar PV plant in central France. The project, Le Couret agrivoltaics plant in Haute-Vienne, will begin construction in 2026. It will supply electricity to SNCF's trains. Neoen also collaborates with the French Chamber of agriculture for sheep grazing. Olivier Menuet and Guillaume Decaen are mentioned. Brookfield Renewables plans to acquire Neoen. France aims for 60GW of solar PV capacity by 2030.
