New research finds solar module anti-reflective coatings may reduce LCOE by over 2%

Researchers from Mohammed First University in Morocco explored the use of solar panels with anti-reflective coating at Green Energy Park in Benguerir. The study assessed the electrical, optical, durability, and economic aspects of AR coatings, noting a 2.7% reduction in levelized cost of energy. The research found significant enhancements in electricity generation and cost reduction with AR-coated panels, as well as their durability against soiling.
