NextEra axes plan for 100-MW solar park in Minnesota - report

NextEra Energy Resources LLC has decided to halt development of a 100-MW solar project in Minnesota but will maintain the land rights. The permit application was withdrawn, with no specific reasons given. The project, known as Timberwolf PV, was to be located near Taopi and involve the installation of 252,000 solar panels. Planned construction start was May next year with completion in August 2026. NextEra remains committed to bringing economic benefits through other renewable projects.
