NKS Solar One seeking approval for 250 MW of floating solar in Philippines

The authorities in the Philippines are considering a 250 MW floating solar project by NKS Solar One for connection to the Luzon grid. Two phases involve building solar arrays in Caliraya and Lumot. The project's cost is estimated at PHP 1.62 billion. The Department of Energy expects to switch on 2 GW of solar projects this year.
