Nordex hits 5GW in the Nordics

Nordex has exceeded the 5GW threshold of installed capacity in the Nordic region by installing a N163/5.X turbine at the Kalistanneva wind farm in Finland. The manufacturer has 1234 turbines in operation across Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway, producing clean electricity for two million households. The Nordic markets present challenges like complex terrain, difficult site access, and demanding climate conditions, but Nordex offers solutions for high turbine availability, including cold climate variants and the Nordex Advanced Anti-Icing System.
