German wind turbine maker Nordex SE has received an order to supply and install nine N133/4800 turbines for a 43-MW Irish wind farm of Danish clean energy group Ørsted A/S. The Farranrory wind farm in south-central Ireland, scheduled to operate in 2026, is expected to supply 25,000 households with renewable energy. Nordex will begin delivering and installing the turbines in the summer of 2025 and will also service them for 20 years. The wind power project won the Irish Government’s Renewable Electricity Support Scheme 3 auction with an average strike price of EUR 100.47 per MWh.
