Northvolt owner enters heat pump business

Vargas, the investment company owning Northolt's battery business, has expanded into the heat pump business with a new venture called Aira in Sweden. Aira aims to be Europe's No. 1 direct-to-consumer brand by assembling heat pumps in Poland and offering affordable solutions with a monthly fee payment model. They plan to serve millions of European homes with clean energy tech and reduce energy bills and emissions.
