OX2 sells 110MWh Finland BESS to L&G NTR fund

OX2 sold a 50MW/110MWh BESS project in Uusnivala, Sweden, to L&G NTR Clean Power (Europe) Fund. They also agreed on a deal for a BESS project in Finland. The market in Finland is moving towards 2-hour durations for BESS projects. Around 300MW of grid-scale BESS is expected to come online in Finland in the next two years. L&G is a UK-based investor and asset manager, while NTR is an Ireland-based renewables developer and infrastructure investor.
