Paris vows to halve offshore wind rollout times

The French Government is setting initiatives to reduce the development time of offshore wind farms from twelve years to six to boost the industry and achieve renewable energy targets. Bruno Le Maire and Roland Lescure discussed measures to make processes more efficient and protective against global competition, such as enhancing green supply chains and prioritizing local, environmentally friendly production. They outlined the strategic importance of the wind industry comparable to the automobile sector, setting ambitious production goals and announcing further tenders to advance floating wind power in France.
