Portuguese regulator invites comments on Tokyo Gas' deal for Windplus

The Portuguese Competition Authority (AdC) has been notified of Tokyo Gas Co Ltd's deal to buy a minority stake in the 25-MW WindFloat Atlantic floating wind farm operating off the coast of Viana do Castelo. Tokyo Gas announced its investment in Windplus SA, the operator of the wind park, where Ocean Winds holds a majority stake and Repsol holds a minority stake. Ocean Winds is a joint venture between EDP Renewables and Engie SA. The regulator has invited interested parties to submit comments regarding the concentration within 10 business days.
