Recent analysis from Cornwall Insight indicates that Ireland's fourth Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS 4) auction falls short of the necessary procurement for the government to achieve its 2030 electricity decarbonisation goal. The data highlights the gap in solar and onshore wind capacity by 2030, which could leave Dublin significantly below the required targets.
