Savant Systems releases 18.5 kWh home battery

Savant Systems, a Massachusetts-based company, has introduced a new home battery and inverter system with 18.5 kWh of usable capacity to store and dispatch rooftop solar production efficiently. The system includes a 12.5 kW inverter with 120 V and 240 V capability, enabling quick grid transfer and high electrical service support. It is scalable, with a range from 20 kWh to 200 kWh, offers 6,000 cycles, and comes with a 10-year warranty. The system aims to optimize clean energy use and affordability during peak pricing and outages.
