Scatec’s Release to expand Cameroon solar-plus-storage projects

Release by Scatec plans to expand its Maroua and Guider projects in Cameroon by adding 28.6MW of solar capacity and 19.2MWh of battery energy storage systems. The expansion is in collaboration with ENEO, a partially state-owned electricity company in Cameroon. Funding for the expansion is provided by Climate Fund Managers. Release aims to provide leasing for solar modules and battery storage facilities, contributing to the solar and storage sector in Africa.
