Serbia’s EPS changes electricity pricing system for businesses

Serbia’s power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije adopted new rules for calculating electricity prices for consumers on the open market. The new pricing system aims to meet the needs of commercial customers while ensuring financial integrity and business viability. It allows for more flexibility in pricing based on market conditions and customer demands. Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović noted that the new methodologies facilitate monitoring market movements and contribute to efficient electricity supply contracts, promoting energy efficiency and competitiveness of the Serbian economy.
