Slovenia, France sign two agreements on cooperation in nuclear energy

France's EDF and I2EN signed memoranda of understanding with Slovenian scientific institutions on cooperation in civil nuclear energy use. The agreements focus on research and development, training, education, and potential collaboration for new nuclear projects, including at the Krško nuclear power plant. EDF also collaborates with Jožef Stefan Institute on R&D, and I2EN partners with the University of Maribor to introduce programs in nuclear science and technology.
