Smart Energies raises EUR 87m for solar with minimum land footprint

French solar power producer Smart Energies raised EUR 87 million to speed up deployment of PV systems in Europe. Plenium Partners and SWEN Capital Partners joined existing investors. Smart Energies is engaged in mid-scale PV projects in Europe with a focus on minimum land footprint. The company plans to construct over 1,000 projects in the next four years.
