Societe Generale seals 20-year solar offtake deal in France

Societe Generale has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with JP Energie Environnement to support the construction of a photovoltaic farm in Arpheuilles, France. The farm will supply about 10-15% of the annual energy needs for Societe Generale's network in France from renewable sources starting in 2026. This move aligns with the bank's decarbonisation strategy.
