Solar carport to provide 100% electricity needs for amusement park in Los Angeles

Recom Technologies, a European PV module manufacturer, partners with Solar Optimum to supply solar panels for a 12.37 MW solar carport project at Six Flags amusement park in California. The project aims to offset 100% of the park’s electricity usage, with expectations to produce 20.8 million kWh annually. The largest solar carport in California will involve a 1.96 MW/7.89 MWh battery storage system and Recom Panther bifacial half-cut solar panels. Six Flags' commitment to clean energy is highlighted, adding to their total of 42.37 MW solar assets.
