SolarDuck, Tokyu install floating solar pilot offshore Japan

SolarDuck and Tokyu Corp have completed the installation of a 100 kW offshore floating solar photovoltaic (OFPV) power plant in Japan. The project, in collaboration with Kyocera Communication Systems Corp, aims to demonstrate advanced energy generation and transmission in the Tokyo Bay Area. The generated energy will power Open Street Corp's electric vehicles and boats. SolarDuck and Everblue Technologies Inc will conduct power generation and storage demonstrations using OFPV facilities.
