Soltech energises 5.8-MW solar park in Sweden

Soltech Group has launched a 5.8-MW solar park in Halland, Sweden, that is already supplying electricity to the local grid. Owned by the company and constructed by subsidiary Soltech Energy Solutions, the Oringe solpark, located in Getinge and spanning 70,000 sq m, features 8,780 PV panels. The park is expected to generate about 5.7 GWh annually, meeting the electricity demands of around 1,200 homes. Initiated in July 2023, this project is part of Soltech's increased focus on expanding its solar capacity, with 114 MWp commissioned in the past year.
