Spanish solar power producer Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente SA closed the first quarter of 2024 with a net profit of EUR 23.6 million, despite generating solid revenues in the context of declining power prices. Solaria reported record-breaking revenues and EBITDA, with total revenues growing by 9% to EUR 48.6 million. The company increased solar power production by 22% year-on-year, negotiating power purchase agreements for 400 MW to reduce market price exposure. Solaria has solar projects in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Germany, as well as a wind power portfolio in Spain and Portugal. The company is diversifying into data centres to become a key player in the energy and digital transition in Europe.
