SSE to offtake power from Scotland's 1.1-GW Inch Cape offshore park

SSE Energy Markets, a subsidiary of SSE plc, has secured a deal to off-take 50% of electricity from the 1.1-GW Inch Cape offshore wind farm project in Scotland. The project is developed by Inch Cape Offshore Ltd and owned by Red Rock Power Ltd and ESB. The wind park, powered by Vestas' V236-15.0 MW machines, will be Scotland's largest single source of renewable power.
