Swedish researchers propose tailored PV incentives

Researchers from Chalmers University of Technology and Becquerel Sweden AB studied the effects of direct subsidies on solar deployment in Sweden using data from 79,336 applications from 2009-2021. They found that subsidies significantly influenced investment from households and companies, but less so for public organizations and associations. The study emphasizes tailoring subsidy programs to different investor groups to enhance the policy's effectiveness.
