The U.S. Department of the Interior announced the advancement of nine solar projects on public lands by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) totaling over 6 GW in capacity. Projects like Esmerelda 7 and Libra Solar are key additions aiming to power millions of homes. The initiative is part of efforts to achieve a carbon pollution-free power sector by 2035, in line with President Biden's clean energy goals.
