US startup offers AI-based software solution to predict component failure in utility-scale inverters

Infinrel, a US-based company, has developed a new software solution called Energy Kardio Graph (EKG) that predicts component failure in inverters used in large-scale photovoltaic plants. The system operates at MHz scale, enabling insight into inverter operation on a switching cycle basis. Infinirel uses machine-learning algorithms to process data and reduce high causality data. They are currently raising capital to deploy more EKGs in the energy transition, with plans to showcase the solution at RE+ in Anaheim.
