Volkswagen France commissions 20 MW solar carport project

Volkswagen Group France (VGF) commissions a 10 MW PV plant on a carport at its headquarters in Villers-Cotterêts, France, as part of their GotoZero strategy to reduce carbon footprint. Engie Green develops the installation and operates it for 32 years. The project, selected by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, receives funding support through crowdfunding.
