Voltalia’s Karavasta Solar plant in Albania delivers 45 GWh in Q1

French renewables company, Voltalia's Karavasta Solar PV power plant in Albania generated 45 GWh of electricity in Q1 2024, leading to a 20% increase in energy sales to 75 million euro. The 140 MW plant is expected to deliver 265 GWh per year, with half sold to OSHEE and the rest to private operators. Voltalia secured a 30-year concession contract with the Albanian government for the 135 million euro project.
