X1 Wind 6MW floater demo wins funding

A floating wind platform demonstration project has secured €13m in funding to accelerate the technology’s deployment. The NextFloat+ project, led by X1 Wind, Technip Energies and NextFloat Plus, will involve the deployment of a 6MW floating wind platform in the Mediterranean Sea. X1 Wind's CEO, Alex Raventos, expressed enthusiasm over receiving support from the Innovation Fund.
