Iberdrola obtains permit for 274MW Portuguese project

Iberdrola has obtained environmental approval in Portugal to build a wind farm in Vila Real and Braga, creating the largest 'hybrid' clean energy scheme in the country. The wind farm will utilize the same grid connection as the Tâmega pumped storage hydro complex to maximize green energy production. Iberdrola aims to start work in early 2025 after obtaining all required permits.
