Iberdrola obtains permit for 274MW Portuguese project

Iberdrola has received final environmental approval from the Portuguese government to construct a 274MW wind farm in Vila Real and Braga, creating the largest hybrid clean energy scheme in Portugal. The wind farm will share the grid connection with the Tâmega pumped storage hydro complex, maximizing green energy production. Iberdrola aims to start construction in early 2025 after obtaining all necessary permits.
