Kitemill secures European funding

Kitemill, a Norwegian airborne wind energy developer, received a multi-million euro grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC) for its KM2 system, recognized for its technological advantages and market readiness. The grant supports the Norse Airborne Wind Energy Project (NAWEP) and makes Kitemill eligible for the EU's 'Blended Finance' program. Kitemill's CEO, Thomas Hårklau, emphasized the EU's commitment to the company aligning with the European Green Deal and Net Zero Industry Act.
