Norway: Incentives for grid-friendly charging

Solar charging of e-cars is popular in Norway and in other European countries. Norgesnett and Volue launched a scheme for lower grid tariffs for customers charging their electric cars with 'short-distance' solar energy. The service, eNabo, rewards users for using electricity at favorable times for the local power grid. The initiative aims to facilitate the integration of more solar energy and increased electric car use without the need for significant grid expansion.
