PENTAGAB, KGAL switch on 82-MW solar park in Portugal

PENTAGAB Lda and KGAL Gmbh & Co KG have inaugurated an 81.91-MWp solar photovoltaic park named Cabeca Vermelho in Penamacor, Portugal. The plant is expected to generate 181.3 GWh of clean electricity, sufficient for over 60,000 local families. The park was developed by P2K Renovaveis Lda, a joint venture between PENTAGAB and KGAL, with an investment of EUR 80 million. Antonio Luís Beites Soares, president of the Penamacor Town Council, mentioned plans for more projects in the area to boost the local economy. EUR 1.0 is equal to USD 1.117.
