R.Power enters Portuguese utility-scale solar market

Poland-based R.Power has commissioned its first 8.4 MW solar farm in Portugal near Evora. The project uses over 15,000 bifacial photovoltaic modules generating over 16 GWh of energy annually. The energy will be sold under a PPA. R.Power plans to complete more projects in Portugal and expand to other countries. Portugal is a leader in renewable energy, aiming to generate 85% of electricity from RES by 2030.
