Renewables met 95% of Portugal's demand in April

In April, renewable energy sources such as hydropower, wind, solar PV, and biomass provided 94.9% of Portugal's electricity needs according to REN. This contribution has consistently exceeded 80% per month for the past four months. Overall, in the first four months of the year, 90% of the electricity demand in Portugal was met by renewable sources.
